How do I check for screen burn-in?

Screen burn-in is most noticeable on plasma screens when a pure white image is displayed. Burnt in regions appear darker next to neighbouring areas.

  1. Clean the screen with lint free cloth.
  2. Click here to open a white window.
  3. Press F11 to activate full screen mode or drag the window slowly around the screen.
  4. Keep a mental note of where darker patches are visible.
